Can I sign up online with you directly?
No, you need to call the number listed and sign up through them. Alternatively, some schools have web site sign up, but it's easier just to call.
What do I need to bring with me?
A couple of sharp pencils with erasers and a calculator. If you have a financial calculator, it will be helpful but isn't required.
What if I have additional questions?

Are we really going to walk out with a complete financial plan ?
Some are, but some will have a list of things to do when they get home. It depends on how complicated your situation is and what options you want to investigate. This is all about you, so it can be as simple or as complicated as you like.
What would be a course description?
Create Your Own Personal Financial Plan in One Day
Does your financial life need a little work? In this one day hands-on workshop you will create a personal financial plan that pulls your financial life together, and find the path from where you are to where you want to go. You will work on your own financial statements, investment policy, tax plan, retirement plan, risk assessment, and estate situation. You will organize where you are today and create a detailed plan of the actions you need to take to make your financial life the best it possibly can be. And if you already have some of the pieces, you will have checked them, adjusted those that need it, investigated your options and opportunities, and put them into an organized and systematic plan. By the end, you will have organized your financial life and have a plan going forward that can help you have the life you deserve.
Materials fee: $20 payable to the instructor on the day of the course in cash only.
Dr. Douglas Rice earned his doctorate at Golden Gate University where he remains teaching in the financial planning program. He is the author of several books including Reflections on Conventional Wisdom.
